HOSTEL IN-WEEKEND 21-22 January 2023

The first weekend of the school year is always a compulsory In-Weekend for the senior school boarders. There is always much discussion among the Grade Twelve boarders, our Entertainment Committee and the matrons in the build-up to the weekend. The team plot a plan for the weekend which includes exciting bonding activities.

After our Friday, supper picnic and swim at the Water Polo pool, the Entertainment Committee kept us busy with Music Trivia. The staff competed too.

A presentation from the representatives of our chosen charity, the Khazimla Project, got the boarders fired up and ready to roll up their sleeves, providing sanitary wear to young girls who would otherwise miss school during their menstruation cycle.

There was much needed free time following a rigorous cheerleading session on Sunday morning, and the boarders made their way to their brothers at Grey’s Hostel where the new boarders from both schools were introduced to each other.

The highlight of the weekend was the morning spent at King’s Beach Water World.
