MUSIC

The talents of our Music learners could be appreciated live at the Praeludium Eisteddfod in Gqeberha last week with many performances earning Double Gold Diploma awards. Not only is it an achievement of individual excellence, but a testament to the Music staff who not only fill the role of educator, but mentor as they guide the learners in applying their talents. The Choir toured to George where twenty-two hopeful choirs from across the country congregated to compete in the Cantamus Choir Competition. To cap their efforts, our choir was placed third with a distinction of 82.04%

FUNDRAISER

Despite the warm weather, there was much joy to be heard on Campus as the learners enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate on a hot day. Funds raised are for the renovations of the girls’ bathrooms. We keep our fingers crossed as the upstairs girls’ bathroom is propositioned to be renovated during the upcoming holiday.

NETBALL

The Fifth Team Netball beat Brylin’s Second Team Netball 9-2 and our Fourth Team Netball lost to Brylin’s First Team 7-11.

HOCKEY

The U/16 Team Hockey participated in a highly competitive event hosted by U16 Top Schools Hockey Tournament, where they demonstrated exceptional commitment and effort. We extend our gratitude to Coach Mikie for his invaluable contribution to the learners throughout the season. The team's performance fills us with pride.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

Mrs Erasmus’ devotional offering necessitated gratitude which is the blueprint for a contented life:

Thank you for the gift of today, a new day, a new week, and the opportunity to see the world around afresh. Let us focus on the “Yes” and on all that is right. Let us speak only the truth, only kind words and only what is helpful, always.
