DISTRICT AWARDS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

What a joyous day of celebrating our fellow schools, our amazing Subject Heads and Teachers and every young lady of the Class of 2024. At the Department of Education District Awards, we were recognized for our 100% pass rate, placed second in the district on a range of criteria, and first in the district in English Home Language, Afrikaans First Additional Language, Physical Sciences, Consumer Studies, Computer Application Technology and Mathematical Literacy. GIRLS' EDUCATION at its best! Our courage statue in the Thuli Madonsela Garden of Remembrance was beaming. We celebrate all with the courage to live by our five core values of responsibility, good work ethic, respect, compassion and integrity. A shout out to Grey High School, our brother school, for their achievements, and braving the group photo with us.

INTERHOUSE ATHLETICS

Spirits were high on Friday despite the heat. Excitement was in the air right from the start of the house cheering to the end of the day. Well done to all the competitors as well as the supporters. For the first time in a many years, the prefects beat the staff in the staff versus prefect relay. The staff tell me that they decided, like parents, to let their children win! Thank you to all the Matrics for their great support the day before the dance for your final lap of Athletics days.
