GRADE EIGHT CAMP
The Grade 8 camp included an introduction to our clubs and Societies, interaction with the prefects, laughter, bonding, talks, activities, a PTA brunch and becoming part of the Collegiate community.
GRADE EIGHT RITES OF PASSAGE
The Grade Eight Rites of Passage Assembly was held where they officially become ‘Girls of the College’ as their Matric Old Pot put their blazer on them and they helped each other put their name badges on. It is a special time of pride and connection between the two grades. The Grade Twelves also received their Matric badges and recited the Matric pledge, formally recognising them as the leaders of the school. The Rites of Passage follows on from the Grade Eight Camp The last weekend. The camp included an introduction to our Clubs and Societies, interaction with the prefects, laughter, bonding, talks, activities, a PTA brunch and becoming part of the Collegiate community.
TENNIS
The First Team Tennis traveled to East London to take part in the Merrifeild Tournament. Despite the grueling heat, our girls played exceptional tennis which resulted in being placed 4th overall. We are appreciative of thank you to Miss Reynolds and Mr McLahlan for accompanying the team.

VIOLINISTS
We are extremely proud of our Violinists who were selected for the Eastern Cape String Orchestra Senior Course in December 2024. Our learners were joined by String players from all over the Eastern Cape and auditioned to form part of the orchestra. The managed the challenging parts well and made Collegiate very proud at the combined ECWO-ECSO concert, which is an orchestra only for learners of Music Level 4 and higher and ages 15-26
