Monday 30 January was a special day for Grade Eights and Twelves as symbolic events took place marking the milestones of our youngest and oldest learners. Mrs Erasmus writes about the rites of passage assembly and the significance of the traditions and symbols of the blazer, pledge, badge and school song.

Monday 30 January was an emotional day as we bid farewell to Mrs Shaw. We were inspired by her positive message at assembly, and inspired by her mentorship and example over the years. Mrs Erasmus said these words at assembly:
2022 Matric results
The Class of 2022 have received their National Senior Certificate results and now embark on new adventures. We are 100% proud of our 100% pass rate. All 149 Collegiate candidates who wrote the examinations have qualified to continue their studies at a tertiary level, 94.6% for degree courses and 5.4% for diploma courses.

It is with enthusiasm that we anticipate the opening of the academic year tomorrow. The new Grade Eights arrive this afternoon, no doubt, highly excited. We wish everyone the best for a year in which dreams are realised, fun is had, sporting triumphs abound, academic work is sound and relationships are supportive.
